Leo Tolstoy and Elizabeth Gaskell are two of the best writers I've had the pleasure to read. And enjoy Richard Armitrage in the BBC series North and South. I've watched the mini-series first then read the book. I enjoyed both and I'm hoping you will too. <br /><br />I can see you're very interested in reading about Marie Antoinette!
